A rapidly expanding eCommerce company specializing in premium collectibles seeks a Magento Tech Lead / Architect to assume full ownership of their Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform. This pivotal role involves leading a small development team, driving critical architectural decisions, and engineering highly scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Architect: Design and implement scalable Magento solutions while providing oversight for a team of three developers.
- Hands-On Development: Write clean, efficient code to significantly enhance the platform’s performance and core capabilities.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate complex feature requests into robust, well-structured technical solutions.
- Optimization & Innovation: Guarantee high availability, security, and adherence to best practices across the platform, including managing integrations with third-party tools.
What You Need:
- Demonstrated experience leading Magento development, including managing developers and owning architectural decision-making.
- Full-Stack Expertise: Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (including Knockout.js and jQuery), MySQL, and cloud-based Magento development environments.
- Hands-On Coding: Must actively develop and optimize the platform; this is a combined leadership and development role.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce and Performance Optimization, including caching strategies, SEO best practices, and managing high-traffic online stores.
