Magento Developer - Adobe Commerce Cloud

Role Description
Join our team as a hands-on Magento Developer, taking ownership of development tasks within our Adobe Commerce Cloud environment. This is a builder role focused on custom module creation, refactoring existing functionality, and maintaining Magento and PHP versions. You will adhere to Magento coding standards and implement automated testing (unit and integration) to ensure stability and scalability. Experience with Symfony for supporting our Akeneo PIM instance is a significant advantage. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions, is essential for streamlining deployments and enhancing development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom modules for Adobe Commerce Cloud.
- Refactor existing Magento functionality for improved performance and maintainability.
- Upgrade Magento and PHP versions, ensuring compatibility and stability.
- Implement and adhere to Magento Coding Standards.
- Set up and maintain automated testing (unit and integration tests).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Akeneo (PIM) using Symfony.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud (not just Magento Open Source).
- Strong understanding of Magento architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing in Magento (unit + integration).
- Proficiency in PHP and Symfony.
- Familiarity with Akeneo PIM or similar product information management systems.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
Other Valued Skills
- Experience with headless Magento implementations.
- Familiarity with B2B eCommerce environments.
- Exposure to performance optimization and caching strategies.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Magento Developer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and quality-driven.
- English proficiency required for communication with US-based teams.

In Latam, the pay range for the Magento Developer role is USD $5,300 to $7,500 monthly, depending on experience, specific skills, certifications, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted based on local market data, potentially varying by 16% lower or 14% higher depending on the country.
