About the Role: Skilled Magento Developer

We seek an experienced Magento Developer to enhance and maintain our global, Magento-based online stores. This role is crucial for ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences across our e-commerce platform.

You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver robust, cutting-edge e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 websites and modules.
• Integrate essential third-party services, APIs, and extensions.
• Engineer a page builder solution to enhance usability and speed.
• Optimize e-commerce site performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new platform features.
• Participate actively in code reviews and adhere to best development practices.
• Ensure the maintenance of clean, organized, and testable codebases.
• Stay current with emerging Magento and e-commerce technology trends.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional development experience with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce).
• Strong proficiency across the stack: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Knockout.js.
• Deep expertise in Magento architecture, including themes, modules, and workflow management.
• Proven experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with modern development tools like Composer and Git.
• Knowledge of Linux environments, web servers (Apache/Nginx), caching strategies, and deployment methods.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Magento 2 Certification (Developer, Front-End, or Solution Specialist) or relevant Adobe Certifications.
• Experience utilizing performance tools such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and Varnish.
• Knowledge of advanced e-commerce concepts like GraphQL and Headless Commerce.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Prior experience operating within an agile development environment.
