About the Area
The Linux Platform team is responsible for the administration and evolution of our Linux server infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance for our products.
Responsibilities and Attributions
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux server infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Monitor the environment using tools like Zabbix and Grafana, identifying and acting on incidents according to established processes, ensuring timely responses.
- Implement automations using Ansible and Python scripts to optimize recurring tasks.
- Perform troubleshooting on web services such as Nginx, Apache, PHP-FPM, and Varnish.
- Perform troubleshooting on applications.
- Participate in vulnerability mitigation activities and security audits.
- Resolve incidents escalated by previous layers (N1 and N2), providing efficient technical support, collaborating with other areas to mitigate problems, and identifying root causes to prevent recurrences.
- Contribute to infrastructure evolution projects, including server migration and the adoption of new technologies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To Excel in This Role, You Will Need:
- Practical experience with Linux server administration (CentOS, Rocky Linux, Debian).
- Knowledge of web services (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish).
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana.
- Experience with task automation and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or CFEngine).
- Knowledge of information security and best practices for server administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of Kubernetes.
Even Better If You Have:
- Experience with load balancing and high availability.
- Familiarity with KVM and oVirt for virtualization.
- Linux certification (RHCSA, LPIC, etc.).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevSecOps culture.
- ITIL certification.
