Linux/Application Administrator - Learning Platforms

YOUR TASKS.

You are an experienced IT Practitioner and ensure the reliable operation and continuous further development of our Learning Management Systems and applications such as ILIAS.

• Operation, administration, and further development of our Learning Management System (ILIAS) including LTI and SCORM integrations.
• Installation, configuration, and support of specialized applications and their integration into the existing system landscape.
• Ensuring stable system operation through monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch and release management.
• Conception, development, and maintenance of APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation solutions.

YOUR STRENGTHS.

WHAT WE NEED.

• Profound knowledge and practical experience in the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MariaDB).
• Very good skills in automation and scripting with PHP, Bash, and JavaScript.
• Experience in the operation and application management of complex specialized applications.
• Practical experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., ILIAS) and relational databases.

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration.
