Quick Summary
Is Linux more than just an operating system to you? Do you love Linux, infrastructure, and making things truly better? Do you enjoy tinkering, trying things out, and being thrilled when something not only works, but works really well?
We are looking for a Linux System Administrator (m/f/d) – full-time or part-time and 100% remote.
Are you looking for a position that fits you while giving you space to bring in your strengths and develop further? Then you are in the right place.
We are not just interested in what you can already do. We are much more interested in how you tick, what makes you curious, and what you are truly passionate about.
Join us if ...
- ... you prefer finding out why something isn't working over simply restarting the service.
- ... you can no longer stand hearing the phrase "We've always done it this way."
- ... your ideas bubble up as soon as we set an empty whiteboard in front of you.
- ... you instantly get excited to try automating something when you hear "Shouldn't we actually be able to automate this?"
- ... you take things into your own hands and love taking on responsibility.
- ... you can celebrate a successful deployment just as much as our marketing team celebrates a good coffee.
In short: You are enthusiastic about technology because you love finding out how things work – please apply.
What expects you technically with us
- Linux / Debian and Server Clusters
- No Windows!11
- Nginx & Apache 2
- PHP, MySQL / MariaDB
- PowerDNS & rspamd
- GitLab & GitLab CI
- Ansible and automation
- Monitoring, networks, VLANs & infrastructure
- and above all: your own ideas and real creative freedom!
You don't have to master everything perfectly. What is much more important to us is that you live Linux, are technically curious, and enjoy solving problems thoroughly.
An apprenticeship or degree in IT is great. Practical experience and enthusiasm are more important to us than formal qualifications.
If you can do things because you taught yourself, tried them out, broke them, and then got them running again: That counts with us.
How we work together
We like people who take responsibility and initiate things. Just as important to us is working with each other, not alongside each other.
We help each other and value people who speak their minds, listen to others, and consider good arguments more important than hierarchies.
If you see a better solution: Say it.
If something isn't working: Address it.
If you want to try something out: Initiate it.
We trust you and give you the freedom to shape your job. Your ideas count - and if you ever get stuck, there is a team there that thinks along, supports, and finds solutions together. Because good ideas come from exchange. And with all the technology, fun shouldn't be missing: We like humor, a relaxed atmosphere, and people who can also laugh at themselves.
And if something goes wrong? Then we learn from it. Sometimes the error is in the system, and sometimes you were the system yourself.
As part of our team, you get
- 100% Remote
- truly flexible working hours
- 30 days of vacation + Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve off
- Christmas bonus
- ergonomic equipment for your workplace
- free choice of hardware and operating system
- paid training, seminars & conferences
- flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths
- regular team events
- health management
- and above all: a lot of trust and even more room for your own ideas!

For this, we are looking for people who want to think along, take responsibility, and contribute their ideas.
Because the best solutions do not come from everything being perfect already - but from people making them better together.
