Quick Summary
Join the Qboxmail Team, where talent meets technology.
Qboxmail Srl, now part of the Vianova Group, was founded in 2016 from an idea by Alessio Cecchi, current CEO and incurable nerd system administrator. We are an email service provider delivered in SaaS mode, which means we take care of providing our customers with a simple, reliable, and secure platform for managing corporate emails, calendars, and contacts. We independently manage our Cloud infrastructure, and we design and develop all the software components of our suite internally.
Qboxmail offers its Email Hosting, Email Delivery, and Security services to more than 50,000 companies in Italy and worldwide. Our ambition is to become a global leader in corporate email service management.
Since there are many projects and even more ideas, we are always looking for people to join our fantastic, very friendly, and exceptional team!
Our philosophy
People are the backbone of our company. We firmly believe that the success of our mission depends on the well-being and happiness of the people who work with us. For this reason, we commit every day to creating and maintaining a pleasant, respectful, fun, and stimulating work environment, where every individual feels valued and appreciated.
When we are serene and find a healthy balance between work and private life, we become more productive and happier. It is precisely this happiness that allows us to achieve great goals together.
Hybrid work
Qboxmail offers a hybrid work model for most roles, which includes 3 days in the office, for effective in-person collaboration, and 2 days of your choice between the Qboxmail office or your home workspace, ensuring you have the same advantages and comforts in both places.
What we expect from you
Every day we face new, complex, and exciting challenges. We expect those who decide to apply and work at Qboxmail to believe in our mission, giving full support to its realization with commitment, motivation, and determination, putting themselves out there to improve their skills and abilities, day after day.
How to apply
Fill out the form at the bottom of the page, selecting the position you wish to apply for. If your profile does not match any open position at the moment, you can still send us your application through the form below: we will view your resume and keep it in consideration for future opportunities.
Our selection process
Once you submit your application, you will receive an automatic email with some questions we ask you to answer. Based on your CV and the answers you give to the automatic email, if we consider your profile in line with what we are looking for, we will schedule a quick phone interview. This will be followed by a first interview via video call or in person, with the HR Department Manager, in which we will explain what we do and what the role to be filled in the company will do. Finally, we will schedule a second interview with the Department Manager to specifically evaluate knowledge and skills, possibly with a practical test. Having successfully passed all the previous phases, there will be an interview with our CEO where we will present our proposal.
Linux System Administrator
Qboxmail, a SaaS company specialized in Email Hosting, SMTP Relay, and Email Security services, is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join the IT & Systems department.
The person will work closely with the Research and Development department and Technical Support, dealing with the management, maintenance, and evolution of the Linux infrastructure on which Qboxmail services are delivered.
We are looking for a curious person, passionate about technology and eager to learn. It is not necessary to know everything already, but it is essential to have method, autonomy, analytical skills, and a desire to deepen what you do not know.
The technical context is stimulating and challenging: we work on email services used daily by many companies, with real issues of deliverability, security, performance, authentication, log analysis, email protocols, DNS, and Linux infrastructure. It is an environment where you see complex technical cases and have the opportunity to grow rapidly, acquiring skills that are difficult to develop in smaller or less specialized contexts.
In an initial phase, you will also work in advanced technical support activities, so as to thoroughly understand the operation of the services, customer issues, and the infrastructure that delivers them. Progressively, you will acquire increasing responsibilities in systems management, task automation, and infrastructure improvement.
