WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

Your key responsibilities as a Lead Platform Engineer will include:

  • Build and maintain internal developer tools, platforms, and frameworks to enhance developer productivity and consistency.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the Developer Experience (DevEx) team.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify pain points, propose solutions, and drive improvements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes to reduce lead times and detect errors early.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and propose innovative ideas for our platforms.
  • Mentor and collaborate with IT colleagues to foster knowledge-sharing and team growth.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are seeking a colleague who possesses:

  • Proven experience in shaping Developer Experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A collaborative, developer-centric mindset, actively engaging in requirement gathering, feedback, and mentoring.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, PHP, or JavaScript.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows), including pipeline building and automation.
  • The ability to balance work with both legacy systems and new services, making pragmatic and well-reasoned decisions.
  • Proficiency in breaking down and prioritizing large, complex features into smaller, manageable tasks.
  • A proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo.

Availability at our Head Office in Brabrand for at least 3 days per week is required.
