As a Lead JavaScript Engineer at Fueled, you are an innovative problem solver crafting complex web applications utilized by millions daily. We have over 12 years of experience pushing the boundaries of WordPress. What you will do:
- Lead, architect, and build React projects in both client-side and server-side environments.
- Estimate JavaScript work and modularize goals into clearly defined, executable tasks.
- Coach and mentor fellow engineers to boost the team’s capabilities.
- Skillfully connect engineering deliverables to client business objectives.
- Finely craft apps and tools that reach millions of online visitors every day.
About you:
- Passionate about building scalable web-based JavaScript applications using ES6+, React, and Node.
- Well-versed in React architectural concepts: state and data management, JSX, creating a componentized system, and JavaScript tooling.
- Knowledgeable of PHP in WordPress as a platform, including custom post types, taxonomies, and using WordPress beyond typical “blog” use cases.
- Possess a code portfolio of real-world samples (link your best work on GitHub; no live coding or whiteboard testing required).
- Prefer to work fully remote and effectively engage in a distributed team environment.
