About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer (Reliability Engineer) to take full ownership of the Stability & Operations track of our platform.

This is a Senior Individual Contributor position emphasizing pure ownership:

• No junior team management.
• No people management responsibilities.
• Zero micromanagement.

What You Will Do

• Translate business requirements into shippable code with full autonomy.
• Dedicate 80–90% of time to hands-on coding.
• Develop and enhance internal tools for monitoring, reliability, and system stability.
• Address bugs and implement tightly-scoped features.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support directly to B2B clients.
• Own critical operational components, including Sentry logs, queue health, and implementation-quality decisions.
• Create deployment and setup documentation for future senior hires.
• Utilize AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to eliminate boilerplate code, acting as the pilot while AI serves as the co-pilot.

In summary: You will lead end-to-end reliability efforts and ensure continuous product stability.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience working in startups or small, high-performance teams.
• A true senior generalist who excels without requiring handholding or navigating bureaucracy.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and extensive experience owning production systems.
• Comfortable making technical decisions quickly and cleanly.
• A rapid learner of new technologies who ships reliable code consistently.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Based anywhere in the Americas (required for alignment with US business hours).
