The World Trade Organization (WTO) seeks a talented, experienced, and motivated Software Engineer to build innovative web applications using the latest technologies. As a Full-Stack Laravel Developer, you will join our development team to design and build data-driven web applications, assisting in the creation of online tools for trade-related data management, web user interfaces, and APIs.
What we're looking for:
- At least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years of PHP web development experience
- 2+ years working with Laravel
- Solid knowledge of design patterns
- Strong understanding of database design principles and database programming with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- University degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
- Working level of English, with French or Spanish as a plus
An advantage if you have:
- Experience with Vue.js, Alpine.js, or Livewire
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind
- Experience developing and deploying web applications to AWS or Azure
- Experience with data aggregation from multiple sources
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience using OAuth or other authentication protocols
- Experience using AI coding assistance tools

How to apply:
This is a remote freelance employment opportunity for a 6-month period. Regular working hours are between 8:30 and 17:30 CET.
