We are hiring a Junior Web Developer / Junior Web Architect specializing in website migrations and setup. A primary function of this role involves taking over existing customer websites, migrating them into our environment with minimal downtime, and ensuring a clean handoff.
Requirements
Web Fundamentals
- HTML, CSS
- JavaScript (DOM manipulation, basic debugging)
- Understanding of website hosting and delivery mechanisms (domains, DNS, SSL, servers)
CMS & Platforms
- WordPress setup and migration experience (themes, plugins, exports/imports)
- Knowledge of common WordPress issues (permalinks, caching, plugin conflicts)
Backend / Website Migration
- Working knowledge of PHP
- Familiarity with migrating “traditional” websites (files + database)
- Comfortable troubleshooting errors during migration processes
