Logicalis Spain is seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with experience in development and Kubernetes microservices environments. This role involves collaborating on the deployment, administration, and maintenance of solutions and tools hosted in Kubernetes (both public and private cloud). The successful candidate will work with development and support teams using a DevOps approach, in a 100% remote work setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage microservices environments based on Java or Python.
- Perform troubleshooting for Java/Python applications and Kubernetes.
- Facilitate the transformation of legacy applications into microservices.
- Design PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions.
- Create deployment files, including YAML and Dockerfiles.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as ELK Stack and Grafana.
- Collaborate effectively with development and support teams.
Required Experience
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Cloud environments.
- Experience with Java, Python, and/or PHP.
- Knowledge of GIT and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Openshift, and/or Terraform.
- Experience with ELK Stack or similar monitoring solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving.
