Position:
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to contribute to ongoing software development projects.
In addition to software engineering, key soft skills required include strong workload organization, task prioritization, interpersonal communication, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop independent backend and frontend microservices using Docker containerization technologies.
- Write, test, and document reusable code and software libraries for future integration.
- Collaborate actively with Project Managers, Tech Leads, and Quality Assurance personnel to build web and mobile applications.
Requirements:
Minimum technical requirements (at least 1 year of hands-on experience for junior candidates):
- Proven experience with Java or JavaScript.
- Experience developing object-oriented software applications.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
Desired technical skills:
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex codebases and scripts.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, service managers, and Bash scripting.
- Proficiency in Node.js.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in PHP.
- Knowledge of .NET / C#.
- Understanding of communication protocols like MQTT and WebSockets (Socket.io) is valued.
- Understanding of event-driven and messaging architectures like NATS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc., is valued.
- Experience with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm/Compose).
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Knowledge of Material Design principles and Bootstrap framework.
- Experience designing and deploying Web APIs and RESTful services.
- Experience working in Agile environments following DevOps practices.
Education and Experience:
- No specific degree is required; however, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- ICT industry experience: Minimum 1 year of practical experience for Junior level profiles.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English.
- Strong documentation and progress reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Eagerness to learn new technical competencies and continuously improve.
