The Mission: Building National Digital Infrastructure
You will work directly with the Founder & CTO to architect and deploy a proprietary Ticketing & Access System for the Canadian museum sector. While our site uses WordPress, this role involves engineering a custom-built plugin solution designed to handle high-traffic volume, secure transactions, and seamless API integrations within our ecosystem.
Key Deliverables (By Next Month)
- Custom Ticketing Engine: Developing a lightweight, secure ticketing architecture using PHP/MySQL.
- API Integrations: Connecting the platform with Stripe/Payment Gateways and CRM (HubSpot).
- Live Streaming Architecture: Assisting in the integration of our broadcast portal.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a self-starter who can figure things out, build solutions, and ship them quickly.
Technical Stack Fluency
- Fluent in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work with APIs and build secure backend logic.
Work Ethic
- Grit: Highly independent; figures out solutions, builds, and ships without constant supervision.
- The Eye: Understands that code must be beautiful on the back end and invisible on the front end.
- The Speed: Comfortable moving fast, iterating, and fixing things better.
