Junior Data Analyst Responsibilities
You will:
- Support the Product and Market Intelligence teams in collecting, treating, and analyzing data related to import, export, and logistics operations.
- Clean, standardize, and structure SQL databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
- Assist in creating dashboards and management reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MRR, churn, conversion, and retention.
- Support the integration and monitoring of data sources including ComexBase, E-Price, CargoFlow, and external APIs.
- Participate in data validation and data auditing processes.
- Help the team build predictive models and business insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Document data processes, flows, and rules according to standards defined by the Product team.
- Contribute to the evolution of Einship's data-driven culture, ensuring intelligent and accessible data usage across departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with knowledge in:
- SQL language (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Excel/Google Sheets (Intermediate to Advanced level).
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Looker Studio).
- Programming logic and data manipulation (Python, R, or similar – a differential).
- Organization, attention to detail, and analytical reasoning.
- Strong communication skills and curiosity about technology and business.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and learn quickly in a startup environment.
Desirable Experience (A Plus)
- Previous experience (including internships) in data analysis, BI, or data science.
- Familiarity with Foreign Trade or the logistics market.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Postgres, REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
- Experience in SaaS environments or technology startups.
- Familiarity with Laravel/PHP or AWS (technical differential only).
