We are looking for talented Intermediate and Senior Engineers to join the Felix Engineering team!
You will be instrumental in writing code and building the architecture that supports our proprietary digital healthcare ecosystem. Our developer roles are full stack, utilizing Vue.js and PHP/Laravel. You will collaborate with teammates and be fundamentally responsible for the technical requirements and management of our front-end and back-end systems, which power our patient, healthcare practitioner, and pharmacist experiences. You will work cross-functionally with our product and design teams to deliver innovative, industry-transforming products and experiences that drive patient acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build our back-end and front-end systems, including architectural patterns, technical specifications, designs, and database management.
- Write code and develop software that will enable us to scale as we launch new products, enter new markets, and expand into new healthcare categories.
- Help improve the reliability of our platform through rigorous testing, observability, and monitoring, and identify areas for system optimization and improvement.
- Manage communication flows across all levels of the stack to maximize efficiency and establish sound engineering practices and frameworks.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, building scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies such as PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and Vue, with a drive to stay up-to-date with ongoing changes and advancements.
- Leadership skills in unblocking and guiding development teams.
- Clear communication regarding technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity, an ability to create clarity, and eagerness to problem-solve and advance projects and the team.

Seniority Levels: Intermediate and Senior positions available.
Location: Toronto, Remote (Canada). We have an office in Toronto, but are currently working remotely and open to candidates from anywhere in Canada.

Compensation Range: CA$110K - CA$160K
