About the Role
Reporting to the ICT Manager, this role is based in our Albion, Brisbane office. The successful candidate will provide Level 1/2 front-line support and services for the business and will be proactively involved in supporting the business's networking systems, desktop computer hardware, and client operating systems and applications.
We are looking for
- Experience in a Support Technician role is essential, including ITIL and ITSM experience.
- Certified Microsoft Professional qualifications desirable.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and effective communication skills, including telephone, written, and face-to-face interactions.
- Able to support Windows 10/11 environments.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, including proficient use of queue processes in helpdesk ticket management to determine job prioritization.
- Skilled in managing users and computers in hybrid Windows Active Directory (AD) and Office365/Azure AD environments.
- Experience with troubleshooting and providing front-line support for LAN, Wi-Fi, and hardware issues remotely.
- Experience with cybersecurity principles, threat monitoring, threat response, and general security practices desirable.
- Ability to work across AU/NZ time zones, Drivers Licence.
Desirable
- Experience in ManageEngine ServiceDesk, Confluence, coding skills (PowerShell, .Net, VBS, .HTML/PHP), ERP/CRM systems (MS Dynamics, Zoho).
- Experience with application deployment and support via SCCM and Intune.
- Experience with cybersecurity principles, threat monitoring, threat response, and general security practices.
