About the Role

As the Growth Product Owner, you will be instrumental in executing our website roadmap, driving initiatives in SEO, Conversion, and overall website growth. Reporting to the Growth Product Manager, you will be the operational core of the website squad, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality project delivery that aligns with business objectives.

You will manage the daily execution for the website engineering squad, overseeing sprints, backlog management, quality assurance (QA), and the triage of incoming web requests. Additionally, you will manage post-build delivery, collaborating with engineers on new features and enhancements, and supporting the Web Content Operations team in seamless Business As Usual (BAU) and campaign activities.

This role is part of the Website, SEO & Conversion team within Growth Marketing. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, data analysts, and SEO and Conversion Managers to create a high-performing website experience that drives measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Website Delivery & Execution

  • Own the day-to-day delivery and execution of website experience initiatives in collaboration with the Growth Product Manager, Engineering squad, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable web initiatives, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead sprint ceremonies, backlog management, QA testing, and delivery planning, ensuring projects are released on time, with high quality, and aligned with roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and data teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and deliver measurable growth and revenue impact.
  • Ensure all releases undergo proper QA processes through staging and meet performance and usability standards across devices and regions.

Website Operations & Triage

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and triage for website requests, including new feature requests, campaign builds, landing pages, and bug fixes.
  • Categorize and assign incoming requests to the appropriate teams (e.g., Web Content Ops, engineers, designers) based on criteria such as complexity and impact.
  • Oversee BAU and campaign delivery, ensuring the offshore Web Content Operations team adheres to clear processes, documentation, and quality standards.
  • Continuously refine web operations workflows (triage, prioritization, QA, and deployment) to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering squad to monitor website uptime, performance, and reliability, proactively flagging and coordinating fixes for issues impacting the web experience.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with the Growth Product Manager to deliver initiatives that drive organic traffic, engagement, and conversions, ultimately contributing to Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
  • Collaborate with SEO and Conversion Managers to ensure their initiatives are properly scoped, prioritized, and executed within the website roadmap.
  • Work with designers to ensure all experiences are high-quality, accessible, and aligned with UX best practices.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Customer, Product, and Engineering) to manage dependencies, expectations, and maintain transparent communication.
  • Report on progress, risks, and delivery outcomes to the Growth Product Manager and relevant leadership teams.

Continuous Improvement & Quality

  • Identify delivery bottlenecks and contribute to refining workflows and sprint processes for increased velocity and collaboration, utilizing automation or AI tools where applicable.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of web delivery practices, standards, and QA procedures.
  • Foster a culture of testing, iteration, evidence-based decision-making, and rapid deployment within the website team.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance insights to inform new iterations, optimizations, and future priorities.
  • Support continuous alignment across teams in different time zones (ANZ, UK, and Canada) to ensure consistent global delivery.

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of experience in product ownership, management, or web delivery within an agile software or website product environment.
  • A strong understanding of agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and stakeholder prioritization.
  • Proven success in managing delivery pipelines for large websites, CMS operations, or product feature builds that drive growth, acquisition, and/or retention.
  • Proficiency in writing clear user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria that effectively communicate expected product outcomes.
  • A curious and growth-oriented mindset, with exposure to growth levers such as SEO/GEO, CRO, or UX/website optimization for customer acquisition and retention, driving measurable revenue impact.
  • Analytical and data-driven capabilities, with the ability to derive insights from qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and prioritization.
  • Experience with QA processes and ensuring website quality through robust testing and acceptance workflows.
  • Technical aptitude with familiarity in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress/PHP, Contentful, Webflow), Jira/Asana, and web QA tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong prioritization abilities and attention to detail, capable of balancing short-term delivery with long-term outcomes.
  • Excellent collaborative communication skills with experience working cross-functionally across Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data teams.
  • A hands-on and proactive approach; comfortable taking initiative to unblock teams and ensure project momentum.
  • Commercial acumen and a customer-centric focus, with the ability to connect business drivers to user impact.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working in SaaS, marketplaces, or HR/recruitment technology environments.
