About the Role

As the Global Website Operations & Development Manager, reporting to the Marketing Department, you will manage and build Atlas HXM's global web presence across the full stack. Your primary focus will be on front-end development and user-facing features.

You will collaborate daily with the Global Website Operations & Development Lead to implement technical solutions, including responsive interfaces, CMS integrations, and back-end functionality. This role delivers results serving customers across 160+ countries and multiple languages. We seek a versatile, pragmatic developer skilled in translating marketing requirements into high-quality technical execution within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development (Primary Focus): Build responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces using native HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring consistency across global websites and multiple locales.
• CMS Implementation & Management: Utilize the headless CMS (Storyblok) to implement content structures, create reusable components, manage multi-locale content architecture, and enable seamless content workflows for marketing teams.
• Back-End Development Support: Contribute to server-side functionality using PHP, including API integrations, data processing, and business logic implementation, under managerial guidance.
• Feature Implementation: Translate design specifications and requirements into functional website features, delivering complete, integrated, full-stack solutions.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Debug and resolve issues across various browsers, devices, locales, and server environments to ensure reliable global website experiences.
• Code Maintenance: Work within the established bespoke codebase, understanding existing architecture, making improvements, and maintaining system stability and consistency.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Partner with marketing, design, and content teams to document development processes, understand requirements, and contribute to team knowledge building.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and native JavaScript (DOM APIs, event handling, AJAX/XHR requests) without reliance on component frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Solid PHP experience, including procedural development; comfortable maintaining existing codebases and working in non-framework environments. Ability to read, modify, and write PHP for server-side logic, data processing, and API integrations.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to work across the stack, comfortable context-switching between front-end and back-end tasks.
• Proven ability to read, understand, and work within established patterns and existing codebases.
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical quality with business velocity.
• Strong ability to follow technical direction and implement solutions according to specifications.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to take ownership of features end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams across time zones.

Highly Valued (Not Required):

• Previous experience in regulated industries or enterprise environments.
• Experience with Git (or other) version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Storyblok, Contentful, or similar).
• Linux command line familiarity and basic server administration.
• Multi-language/multi-locale website development experience.
