Project Description:
This role supports the consolidation of legacy client portals into a single modern platform. The Client is significantly investing in internal AI capabilities to accelerate engineering and operations. As a GenAI Adoption Lead, you will focus on building internal AI tools, agentic workflows, and engineering tooling, primarily leveraging AWS Bedrock and a robust MLOps foundation.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of commercial software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Bedrock, including foundation models, agents, and knowledge bases.
- Solid MLOps experience covering model deployment, monitoring, pipelines, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
- Proven track record in building AI agents, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered internal tools.
- Strong Python skills essential for AI/ML development and tooling.
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with leading LLM/agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable tools.
- Hands-on experience with various AWS services beyond Bedrock.
- Strong understanding of testing and evaluation practices for AI systems.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, multi-timezone team (US / UK / Brazil), with a preference for meaningful US Mountain Time overlap.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
- Proficiency in embedding AI into existing engineering workflows and developer tooling.
- Background in SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or large-scale B2B portals.
- Familiarity with the PHP / Laravel ecosystem, beneficial for platform integration tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver internal AI tools and agentic workflows utilizing AWS Bedrock.
- Build and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for the deployment, monitoring, and evaluation of AI capabilities.
- Develop essential engineering tooling to enhance developer productivity and quality across the team.
- Contribute significantly to architectural discussions and technical decisions for the AI workstream, collaborating with the Tech Lead.
- Implement RAG, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks to ensure reliable and measurable AI behavior.
- Write clean, testable code with comprehensive test and evaluation coverage.
- Actively participate in code reviews, fostering knowledge sharing and upholding quality standards.
- Break down user stories into technical tasks and provide accurate effort estimates during sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot issues and contribute to thorough root-cause analysis.
- Engage with Client engineering counterparts across US, UK, and Brazil on integration points and delivery milestones.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, and demos.
