Fullstack Developer (Hourly/Flexible) – Mental Health Tech

About the Role

As a Fullstack Developer, you are a key member of our technical team, responsible for front-end design, back-end logic, and system architecture. You will build scalable, fast, and accessible solutions that enhance our digital mental health services.

This is an hourly employment position, offering flexibility while ensuring you remain a central part of a knowledgeable, creative, and solution-oriented development team.

Technical Skills & Expertise

We seek candidates with excellent technical breadth and depth across the entire stack:

Front-end & Design

• Strong sense of design and user experience (UX).
• Proficiency working in Figma.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SCSS, capable of building responsive interfaces.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js.
• Experience with modern build processes (Vite, NPM).

WordPress Development

• Deep understanding of WordPress internals and externals.
• Experience with the Gutenberg editor and developing custom Gutenberg blocks.
• Proficiency with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Ability to develop custom WordPress plugins and themes.

Back-end & Server Environment

• Expert knowledge of PHP and understanding of MVC structure.
• Experience with the Laravel framework and developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with tools like Composer, Supervisor, and PM2.
• Understanding of server environments (Apache, NGINX) and experience with the Linux terminal.

Tools & Version Control

• Structured work approach using Git for version control and collaboration in codebases.
• Focus on performance, security, and maintainable code.
