Full Stack WordPress Developer

Digital Artisans is seeking a talented WordPress web developer to lead development projects. We specialize in building truly custom websites and web applications using the latest technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to create functional, scalable, and maintainable sites that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with our User Experience and design teams to produce highly creative websites. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong mid-level developer to advance their career. Expected Experience:

• 5+ years experience writing CSS/SCSS from scratch
• Experience with WordPress/Drupal or other PHP-based CMS platforms
• Proficiency with Git, including branching workflow, rebasing, merging, and command-line interface (CLI)
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to design and develop flexible systems for rapidly changing requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a good sense of humor
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US
• More than 2 years at recent jobs; no contractors
• Experience with deployments to common platforms and DNS management
• 5+ years experience writing PHP and JavaScript (ECMAScript 5/6)

Extra Credit:

• Experience with development and use of REST APIs
• Experience with web application security, penetration testing, or network security
• Experience maintaining in-house software and a desire to automate, improve, and stabilize developer tasks within a fast-moving team
• Working knowledge of common web servers such as Apache or Nginx
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular, or Node.js
• Experience in Shopify, WooCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms

While not required, an ideal candidate would be located in the MA/NH/ME area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
