I MILLE
Attractive
Application ends: 2026-07-31

Quick Summary

I MILLE is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with over five years of experience to design, develop, and maintain client websites and web applications, focusing primarily on back-end development. The role requires proficiency in PHP, Node.js, WordPress, relational databases, Git, and front-end technologies like React or Vue, with professional fluency in Italian and English. This is a primarily remote position based in Italy (with offices in Milan and Rome) offering a permanent contract, a salary range of €30k-38k, meal vouchers, and opportunities to integrate generative AI technologies.

About us

We are I MILLE, a communication agency and design studio. We use creativity to transform business by developing strategy, design, and production in a single process.

Since 2024, we have been part of TXT Group, a company listed on the Euronext STAR Milan segment, specializing in smart solutions, software engineering, and digital advisory.

For over twenty years, we have supported companies that want to make their communication relevant.

For us, a digital product is worth how it actually works in the hands of those who use it. Behind a clear experience, there are architecture, data, code, and design decisions working together, not separate disciplines. At I MILLE, we build digital products and ecosystems that bring order to complexity: solid, measurable systems designed to last and improve over time. If this is also how you understand your work, let's get to know each other.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a person with 5 or more years of experience in web development, comfortable both on the back-end side and, where needed, on the front-end side, capable of creating solid and maintainable solutions working alongside designers, other developers, and IT stakeholders.

What you will do

  • You will develop and maintain our clients' websites, web apps, and platforms, working mainly on the back-end side.
  • You will translate requirements and specifications into solid, readable, and maintainable code.
  • You will work on new and ongoing projects, mostly public and consumer-facing.
  • You will collaborate with designers, other developers, and system architects.
  • You will participate in estimations, code reviews, and the definition of technical solutions, overseeing quality, performance, and security.
  • You will implement responsive interfaces starting from designs, taking care of their rendering and accessibility.
  • You will work in multidisciplinary teams and, in some cases, in Agile (Scrum) work contexts.
  • You will actively participate in the agency's innovation projects, mainly related to artificial intelligence: from experimentation to prototyping, up to the integration of generative AI models and services into client products.

What skills we expect you to have

  • Solid experience in back-end web development with PHP and Node.js (nice to have Python/Django).
  • Experience in end-to-end development of projects on WordPress CMS (nice to have Django CMS, Strapi).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Mastery of Git and an orderly versioning workflow (branch management and merge conflicts).
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Docker and containers (e.g., Docker Compose) and good familiarity with Linux environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with vibe coding and coding assisted by generative AI tools.
  • Knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a front-end framework (React, Vue) and/or derived meta-frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of written and spoken Italian: internal communications are predominantly in Italian.
  • DevOps practices (CI/CD), cybersecurity and data protection principles, familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Nice to have: experience in public contexts and knowledge of AgID guidelines (NIS2).
  • Experience, even experimental, in integrating generative AI services and models into products: calling LLM APIs, prompt design, and structured output management.
  • Experience, even experimental, in creating skills, agents, and agentic workflows.

What we offer

  • Permanent contract, CCNL Commercio.
  • RAL 30-38k, based on experience and level of autonomy.
  • Meal vouchers of €7 for each day worked, in person or remotely.
  • Company welfare €200 per year.
  • Free smart working, with offices in Milan and Rome.
  • Internal training plan, participation in industry events, knowledge sharing moments, and team building.
  • Company laptop and welcome kit.

How the selection process works

  • CV screening and cover letter.
  • Introductory interview with the Tech Director, to get to know I MILLE and assess mutual interest.
  • Technical interview with our senior developers, with a practical coding test.
  • Final interview with the COO.

Location

We work mainly remotely, with offices in Milan and Rome.

We prefer, but it is not binding, people who can occasionally reach our Milan office.

Equal opportunities

At I MILLE, we evaluate applications based on skills, experience, and potential. We welcome applications from people of any gender, age, origin, orientation, identity, cultural background, or disability status. If you need specific accommodations during the selection process, please let us know: we will adapt the interview methods to your needs.
