Your Responsibilities
- Integrate front-end projects from static mock-ups.
- Implement WordPress site front-end aspects using static designer mock-ups.
- Set up and configure efficient back-end systems.
- Design WordPress sites utilizing hooks, filters, and custom code (WP, jQuery/Javascript).
- Optimize site performance, manage caches, analyze logs and resources, and enhance both front-end and back-end site efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing updates and maintenance for client websites.
- Manage support tickets effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Excellent understanding of WordPress, including Custom Post Types, Advanced Custom Fields, WPML, and custom themes/plugins.
- Experience with responsive front-end integration from Figma, XD, or similar mock-ups.
- Highly comfortable with development tools (Console, Terminal, DevTools, SSH).
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern development environments.
- Experience with REST APIs, Ajax, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Google tools (Tag Manager, Analytics, Search Console).
- Basic knowledge of technical SEO and good GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) practices.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Docker, Composer, and WP-CLI (an asset).
