ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a healthcare startup dedicated to making a significant impact by developing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. This platform aims to improve patient outcomes, reduce escalating healthcare costs, and enhance participant experiences.
As our first internal developer, you will collaborate closely with our small team, including the CEO, CTO, Designer, and an experienced external development team. Your work will directly contribute to building a product that improves lives.
You will develop and enhance a user-friendly, mobile-first, high-performance application and web interface, utilizing AI coding assistance. Frequent interaction with the team and incorporation of user feedback will be crucial for improving the experience and functionality for both clinicians and patients.
This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational builder, where your contributions will directly lead to improved real-world patient outcomes and lower healthcare access costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Utilize AI coding assistants.
- Incorporate frequent feedback from app users, including physicians and patients, to continuously improve the product.
- Translate design mockups into functional application and web pages.
- Optimize web interfaces for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Create, maintain, and integrate with external and internal services and RESTful APIs.
- Work with PHP, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Create and optimize database queries.
- Manage source control through GIT.
- Integrate with AWS.
- Develop SPAs (single page apps) and PWAs (progressive web apps).
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with our external development team.
- Support organizational goals through thoughtful and efficient use of resources.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
