Job Description
Are you a Full Stack Developer with a strong PHP focus and native German language skills? Do you have several years of professional experience and want to integrate AI-optimized coding for refactoring, testing, code quality, and documentation into your daily workflow? We offer a remote-first position with a one-time on-site introduction in Eschborn.
Tasks
- Develop, support, and optimize web applications and interfaces with a clear PHP focus (with and without frameworks).
- Implement and enhance custom PHP applications.
- Perform Full-Stack Development, including backend logic, APIs, databases (e.g., MySQL), and frontend components as needed.
- Engage in direct customer contact to coordinate requirements and solutions.
- Work on diverse projects with varying technical environments (e.g., e-commerce, ERP, individual software).
- Provide maintenance and support for existing projects, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
- Ensure high code quality through tests, code reviews, and best practices.
- Utilize AI tools for AI-optimized coding to boost productivity and quality (e.g., for writing tests, refactoring, performance/security checks, documentation) while maintaining transparency.
- Occasionally use frameworks like Laravel or Symfony based on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Native German language skills.
- Several years of professional experience in PHP development (Full Stack).
- Proficiency in PHP (with and without frameworks), clean architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with REST APIs and databases (e.g., MySQL).
- Strong analytical skills, responsibility, and a structured approach.
