Quick Summary
Full Stack Developer (Laravel)
Join our lean and growing software development team as a Full Stack Developer with Laravel experience. We are seeking an intermediate application developer passionate about efficient code, idiomatic Laravel practices, and robust test coverage.
Since launching our new learning management system, "Qualify," in January 2022, we've been enhancing our competitive edge in the Health & Safety services market. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to significant projects over the next 12 months, including developing features for our web application and React Native mobile apps, alongside supporting existing features with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
We value continuous learning, leveraging AI tools for productivity, and seeking feedback for self-improvement. As a Full Stack Developer at Worksite Safety, you will collaborate with our product team through the entire feature lifecycle: shaping, designing, building, testing, and shipping.
Our team is collaborative and ego-free, valuing iterative growth and enjoying the process of building innovative solutions together.
Why Work With Us?

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Take ownership of feature development and bug resolution, supported by the team.

- Collaborate with customer-facing and UI/UX teams to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong track record building modern web applications using Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
- Familiarity with CSS utility-class frameworks; experience with TailwindCSS is a significant asset.
- Ability to build user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js (we also use Inertia.js for our web application).
- Understanding of accessibility standards, or a strong desire to learn them.
- Comfortable writing, editing, and maintaining Unit/Feature tests.
