Quick Summary
TermoGest is a multi-tenant SaaS platform designed to simplify operations for hundreds of thermal system installers and maintainers across Italy. It manages plant logbooks, RCEE, F-Gas, electronic invoicing, intervention scheduling, and warehouse inventory, ensuring compliance with evolving regional regulations.
We are a proud part of the Tweppy Group, an Italian company specializing in developing management software for diverse sectors, including Tweppy, TermoGest, and Syncrogest.
The Context
TermoGest is a robust product with years of production history. However, some technological components require modernization, specifically an Angular frontend no longer on a supported version and certain vendored modules built on older stacks. We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee project maintenance and collaborate with our team to transition the platform to a more contemporary technology stack.
What You Will Do
- Manage routine maintenance for the Laravel backend and JWT APIs, which are consumed by both single-page applications (SPAs) and mobile applications.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the product, ensuring it remains current with market demands and user needs.
- Work collaboratively with the existing development team to strategize and implement the modernization of outdated components within the technology stack.
- Operate within a genuine multi-tenant architecture, supporting hundreds of active client databases in a production environment.
- Contribute to frontend development using Angular and/or Vue.js, aligning with team priorities and project requirements.
- Integrate various external services, including electronic invoicing, payment gateways, regional cadastres, CRM systems, and messaging platforms.
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5 years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and a modern framework, with a preference for Laravel.
- Demonstrated experience with at least one component-based frontend framework, such as Angular, Vue.js, or React.
- Good working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and version control systems like Git.
- A genuine interest in the maintenance and continuous evolution of existing codebases, beyond just green-field projects.
- Possess curiosity and autonomy, as this role involves interacting with numerous distinct parts of a complex, real-world system, not just an isolated code segment.
A Plus If You Know
- Experience with SaaS multi-tenant environments.
- Background in frontend framework migration or upgrade processes (e.g., major Angular upgrades or transitions to newer stacks).
- Familiarity with Redis, asynchronous queues, and integrations with cloud services (e.g., AWS).
What We Offer
- Full remote work flexibility.
- An annual salary ranging from €30,000 to €35,000, commensurate with experience.
- The opportunity to work on a product that delivers concrete impact within a regulated industry, moving beyond generic task lists.
- A supportive team environment where modernization efforts are a collaborative endeavor.
- Involvement in a growing IT group, with potential for career progression and opportunities to work on other products within the group.
Compensation: €30,000.00 - €35,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote
