We are currently seeking a full-time PHP Web Developer. The position includes an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop new projects from the ground up, maintain and improve upon existing code.
• Build robust backend services using PHP.
• Perform detailed testing, including initial functional testing to prepare for code updates/revisions.
• Develop responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Write optimized SQL queries (MSSQL).
• Support the company, products, and teams.
• Suggest and work to implement new technologies within assigned areas.
• Create data models and put them to work with strong visual interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Improve performance, scalability, and security across applications.
• Work with multiple projects at one time.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
• Interact with all project stakeholders to ensure satisfied clients at all levels.
• Use modern tools and technology, not excluding AI, to improve productivity and stay up to date.
• Be able to demonstrate understanding of, and take responsibility for any submitted code.

Desired Qualifications for Position:

• 5 years of demonstrable experience in PHP (OOP) development.
• Ability to work within a legacy (procedural) PHP codebase.
• Ability to work in a team and individually on projects.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to respond to re-prioritization when emergency events come up.
• JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, HTML/CSS, SASS, Bootstrap.
• Ability to work within Coding Style Guidelines and Frameworks.
• Handlebars.
• Node.
• GIT.
• Linux command line.
• Strong organizational skills.
