This opportunity is in the solution design and development space for a Full Stack Developer who will design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native web applications end to end — from front-end UI through back-end services, APIs, and data layers — while working closely with management to prioritize business and product needs.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers, to gather requirements and create user-friendly solutions.
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate, scope, and deliver software solutions.
- Develop and manage well-functioning, performant databases and APIs.
- Own the software development process end to end, from conception through deployment and post-release support.
- Manage the full lifecycle of software and application development, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Oversee and direct the evaluation, creation, and implementation of software architecture and technical solutions.
- Drive automated testing strategy (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and provide input as projects are developed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues across the stack, including performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Build features and applications with mobile-responsive, accessible design.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Redux/Zustand, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid CSS/UI tooling experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Sass, Webpack, Vite, and Babel.
- Back-end development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS), Python (FastAPI/Django), Java (Spring Boot), or PHP (Laravel).
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions).
- Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tooling: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and integrating LLM/AI APIs into applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic) is a plus.

Salary: GBP 34,500 to GBP 41,200 per annum
