Fullstack AI Engineer
FCamara is seeking a Fullstack AI Engineer for an exciting opportunity in partnership with a leading national higher education institution specializing in health, particularly Medicine and Dentistry. This institution is committed to innovation and digital transformation to deliver a richer, modern academic experience.
The successful candidate will develop AI-based solutions, focusing on AI Agents, automations, and MVPs. We are looking for a hands-on professional with autonomy and a drive for rapid delivery using modern technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
- Design and implement AI Agents for automation and decision support.
- Structure agent flows, including memory, tools, and orchestration, with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Rapidly create MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and POCs (Proofs of Concept) to validate business hypotheses.
- Implement automations and integrations (e.g., n8n, APIs).
- Manage projects end-to-end, from prototype development to usable versions.
- Leverage AI technologies (e.g., Claude, Codex) to accelerate development cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with React and Node.js.
- Experience in building AI Agents, including multi-step flows and effective use of LLMs.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable frameworks.
- Experience with MVPs, POCs, and rapid innovation cycles.
- Proficiency in integration via REST APIs and automation tools (e.g., n8n).
- Practical understanding of data applied to AI, including structuring, consumption, and use in workflows.
- Experience with AWS (deployment and basic services).
- Demonstrated autonomy and a strong focus on delivery.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An innovative mindset, comfortable with calculated risk-taking.
Desired Qualifications (Will Stand Out)
- Experience with PHP and/or Python.
- Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, or data pipelines for LLMs.
- Experience with vector databases.
- Understanding of product concepts (discovery, prioritization).
