About the Role: Exceptional Frontend Product Engineer (React/AI)

We are seeking an exceptional Product Engineer with a strong product mindset and expertise in React. Join the AI team, working alongside Nuno Maduro and Ashley Hindle, to develop Laravel’s most ambitious project to date.

This fully remote role is ideal for engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and believe AI is fundamentally changing software development. We welcome global applicants.

• Laravel 12+, PHP 8.4+, Inertia

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

• Ship Production Features Rapidly: Own the entire frontend implementation lifecycle, moving features from concept and prototype to production deployment within hours or days (startup speed).
• Build Complex React Interfaces: Collaborate closely with the UX designer to implement sophisticated, user-facing features using beautiful and scalable UI components.
• Ensure Technical Excellence: Architect scalable frontend systems, profile and optimize performance, and maintain rigorous code quality standards.
• Connect with Users: Engage with our community to deeply understand user workflows, identify critical pain points, and translate these learnings directly into product improvements.

• Strong Frontend Craftsmanship: Expertise in TypeScript, React, Inertia, and Tailwind, coupled with a keen eye for interaction design, motion, accessibility, and visual detail.
• A proven track record of independently driving features from initial idea through to production launch.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality, well-designed, and thoughtful user experiences.
• A strong dedication to ensuring user success.

• Experience as a former founder or early engineer who has successfully built a product from 0 to 1.
• A strong bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• A passion for winning and proactively sharing demos of work.
