About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Product Engineer with a strong product mindset and expertise in React development. This role is crucial for the AI Team, collaborating with Nuno Maduro and Ashley Hindle, to develop Laravel’s most ambitious project to date.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers who thrive in a fully remote, globally distributed environment, move quickly, and believe that AI is fundamentally changing software construction.

What you’ll do

• Ship Production Features Rapidly: Own the frontend implementation lifecycle, moving features from concept and prototype to production deployment within hours or days.
• Build Complex React Interfaces: Partner closely with our UX designer to implement sophisticated, user-facing features using beautiful and scalable UI components.
• Ensure Technical Excellence: Architect scalable frontend systems, profile and optimize performance, and maintain rigorous code quality standards.
• Engage with Users: Embed within our community to deeply understand user workflows, identify critical pain points, and translate these learnings directly into product improvements.

Requirements

You may be a fit if you have:

• Strong Frontend Craftsmanship: Expertise in TypeScript, React, Inertia, and Tailwind, coupled with a keen eye for interaction design, motion, accessibility, and visual detail.
• A proven track record of independently driving features from initial idea through to production launch.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality, well-designed, and thoughtful user experiences.
• A dedication to helping users succeed.
