Frontend Developer with React Focus (Full-time/Part-time)
Join our team in Berlin or Dresden as a Frontend Developer specializing in React. This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to our product, shape technical solutions, and collaborate with Design, Product, and Development to enhance a web application used daily by our customers.
Key Responsibilities of a Frontend Developer
- Conceptualize and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable React components, actively contributing to frontend development for our Billomat web application.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly user interfaces.
- Ensure code quality, adhere to development standards and best practices, and actively participate in code reviews.
- Analyze technical challenges, fix bugs, and improve application performance, stability, and maintainability for continuous enhancement.
- Share knowledge with the team and contribute to the continuous development of our frontend standards and development processes.
Our Technology Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: NestJS, TypeScript, REST and GraphQL APIs, PHP, Golang, Ruby, Python (for existing systems)
- Testing and Quality: Unit testing, PR review processes, Postman (for API documentation and test monitoring)
- Infrastructure and CI/CD: AWS, Bitbucket Pipelines
- Monitoring: Sentry
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid experience in frontend development with React and in developing responsive, user-friendly user interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern ECMAScript standards.
- Familiarity with modern styling and component libraries; ideally, experience with Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, React Hook Form, and Zod.
- Commitment to unit testing and test-driven development as part of professional software development.
- Strong sense for UI/UX and accessibility, with the ability to develop intuitive, accessible interfaces.
- Fluent German language skills for effective team communication.
- Knowledge of Apollo Client and Sentry (nice to have).
