Front End Developer

In this fully remote, work-from-home position, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining responsive, user-friendly web interfaces from concept through launch.

The ideal Front-End Web Developer will work within a LAMP-based environment, collaborating closely with backend developers. You will implement frontend functionality, styling, and validation across our hosted websites, webforms, online applications, WordPress instances, custom blog sites, and other digital assets. This role emphasizes utilizing modern front-end technologies to build and enhance web experiences with a strong focus on UI/UX, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. To be considered you’d need:

• Must be a Florida resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Proven working experience in front-end web development with code examples for review.
• An understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, testing, and deployment).
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms and experience with custom CMS implementations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within timelines.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• A minimum of 3+ years of proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with version control systems such as GIT.
• Experience integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems and APIs.
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• The ability to gauge the technical feasibility and level of effort for new features and enhancements; able to propose ideas and scope work.
• Be a team player who can also work independently, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Working knowledge of MVC frameworks and how frontend components interact with backend architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, debug frontend problems, and implement solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with the development team, provide guidance, and make recommendations on frontend improvements.
• Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Ability to work on internal and external projects and other assigned duties.
• Desirable: Experience working with modern PHP-based frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
