About the Role: On-Demand WordPress Development

We are seeking a reliable, project-based Freelance WordPress Website Developer to serve as a backup resource, handling various WordPress assignments as needed. This role offers flexible collaboration with compensation agreed upon based on the scope and complexity of each project.

Key Responsibilities: WordPress Customization and Maintenance

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites on a project-by-project basis.
• Build and customize WordPress pages utilizing various themes and popular page builders.
• Implement layout and content changes by customizing existing themes.
• Ensure robust responsive design and comprehensive cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website performance, stability, and fundamental security features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and efficiently resolve WordPress-related technical issues.
• Manage necessary updates, backups, and routine maintenance tasks when assigned.
• Strictly adhere to provided guidelines, designs, and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Solid foundational knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins architecture.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing major page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or similar tools).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to precisely follow project specifications.
• Strong capability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines.

Valued Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience implementing and managing WooCommerce solutions.
• Familiarity with best practices for website performance optimization.
• Basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and UX (User Experience) principles.

Working Model & Compensation

• This is a backup / on-demand freelance role.
• Projects are assigned based on current workload and developer availability.
• Compensation is defined per project, reflecting its scope and complexity.
• Flexible collaboration with no fixed monthly commitment is offered.
