Freelance Web Developer and Designer

We are seeking a technically strong web generalist skilled in both design and development. This role requires an independent professional capable of handling diverse tasksfrom updating a homepage layout and fixing a Stripe issue to advising on new site buildswithout extensive supervision.

You will serve as our primary website partner across multiple client projects, managing everything from design tweaks and landing pages to complex integrations and technical troubleshooting.

Note: Candidates must possess both design and development expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement page layouts and site updates.
• Build and maintain robust WordPress websites.
• Create high-converting landing pages, forms, and funnels.
• Manage e-commerce platforms and Stripe payments.
• Implement Gravity Forms and necessary integrations.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize website performance, SEO basics, and analytics setup (GA4).
• Advise on optimal tools, plugins, and technical decisions for new projects.
• Support site launches, migrations, and rebuilds.

Required Skills

Candidates must be comfortable with the following areas:

Design

• Clean, modern web design principles.
• UX best practices.
• Proficiency in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Light graphics work (using tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar).

Technical

• Expertise in WordPress (themes, plugins, troubleshooting).
• E-commerce management.
• Stripe payment integration.
• Google Analytics (GA4) setup and monitoring.
• SEO fundamentals.
• Managing hosting, domains, DNS, and SSL certificates.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (PHP/JS experience is a plus).
