This project also includes a broader vision for a transactional platform for Oversea Import Export, managing secure payments, supplier transactions, and digital financial flows. The ideal candidate will initially focus on the tiny homes platform, with potential to evolve into this strategic area based on expertise and interest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a complete website for Nanopods Canada, enabling clients to:
- Explore various tiny home models.
- Customize their future home (interior/exterior options, materials, dimensions, finishes).
- Utilize an interactive configuration tool for real-time visualization.
- Define needs through a guided, intuitive journey.
- Submit inquiries or book online.
- End-to-end website design and development.
- Create an interactive tiny home configurator (models, options, visuals).
- Develop a fluid and engaging customer journey.
- Integrate an inquiry form or online booking system.
- Ensure a mobile-first, fast, and accessible user experience.
- Implement an administrator dashboard for model and inquiry management.
Evolving Focus: Transactional Platform
- Integrate secure payment solutions (e.g., Stripe, wire transfer, credit).
- Prepare architecture for supplier and import-export transactions.
- Contribute to structuring an automated commission system.
Candidate Profile:
We seek a curious, autonomous individual passionate about creating digital experiences. This role is open to students (internship/co-op) and young professionals. Creativity and resourcefulness are highly valued alongside technical skills.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education or experience in web development (front-end and/or back-end).
- Strong sense of design and user experience (UX/UI).
- Ability to work autonomously and propose solutions.
- Structured, results-oriented mindset.
- Good communication in French (English is an asset).
Mastery of all elements is not mandatory; a desire to learn and a global vision are paramount.
Technical Proficiencies (Preferred):- Modern web development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue, or other frameworks.
- Back-end development: Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar.
- Database management: SQL or NoSQL.
- Third-party API integration (payment, mapping, etc.).
- No-code tools / CMS (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify) — a plus.
- Understanding of web security and performance.
