This role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions while collaborating closely with product, data, and engineering teams. In our fast-moving, flexible environment, you will actively contribute to technical decisions and directly influence the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable APIs.
- Contribute significantly to the development of data-intensive and AI-driven backend systems.
- Develop and manage robust databases and backend applications.
- Collaborate effectively with data scientists and other engineers to continuously improve software solutions.
- Ensure consistently high code quality, optimal performance, and system scalability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer or Developer.
- Strong proficiency across multiple backend technologies, including Node.js, PHP, Laravel, and Python.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
- Experience utilizing PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team structure.
