We are seeking a Full-Stack Web Engineer to join a Ukrainian product IT company specializing in desktop application development for macOS and iOS. This company boasts 15 released products designed to enhance user experience for file sharing and conversion, music and video downloads, copyright-free image acquisition, and system performance optimization (e.g., freeing up RAM).
As a Full-Stack Web Engineer, you will own the company's website, driving new functionality for trials, checkout processes, and product launches. You will enhance the existing architecture, collaborating closely with product and marketing teams to deliver features rapidly.
Technical Stack:
- Frontend: SvelteKit, Vue.js, TailwindCSS
- Backend: Node.js, Go, PHP
- Infrastructure: Docker, S3, Cloudflare
What you will do:
- Maintain and develop the primary company website.
- Deeply understand current website architecture and functionality.
- Develop new features for trials, licensing, and checkout flows.
- Collaborate with marketing on landing page launches and product campaigns.
- Set up and maintain web assets like banners and pop-ups.
- Support email marketing infrastructure, including Sendy and MailChimp configuration.
- Assist in migrating marketing automations from MailChimp to Sendy.
- Enhance website performance and page load speed.
- Improve and maintain codebase quality.
- Contribute to other internal web projects.
- Propose architectural improvements as needed.
- Refactor legacy code to boost stability or performance.
- Develop new features while ensuring platform stability.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in similar roles.
- Proficiency in web application development using modern JavaScript frameworks like SvelteKit or Vue.js.
- Strong skills in TypeScript and VanillaJS.
- Extensive knowledge of Node.js for server-side programming.
- Experience with Go and PHP (versions 5.2, 7, or higher) as server-side languages.
- English proficiency at B2+ level for technical documentation and written communication.
- Experience with S3 buckets or comparable storage systems.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of front-end optimization techniques and web rendering.
- Experience with Docker and Docker-compose for containerization and deployment.
- Advanced front-end development skills using Tailwind CSS.
- Strong grasp of application architecture and software design principles.
- Experience building or supporting checkout, trial, subscription, or paywall flows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product and marketing teams on website enhancements and experiments.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Will be a plus:
- Hands-on experience with React or similar frameworks.
- Proven experience integrating payment solutions (e.g., FastSpring, Stripe, Paddle).
- Background in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
- Experience supporting high-traffic marketing or product-driven platforms.
- Track record of launching independent projects end-to-end.
- Experience with BaaS platforms (e.g., Directus, Supabase, Firebase).
- Experience integrating with the Cloudflare API.
