What will you be doing?
The PHP Developer is responsible for the design, development, and support of web-based applications within the Skilltech Solutions product suite and internal systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
What will you bring to the role?
- Proven experience in object-oriented PHP development.
- Experience working with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team.
- Capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience with Laravel, Vue.js, Bootstrap, SaaS platforms, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
