Overview: Enterprise WordPress VIP Developer
We are seeking a seasoned WordPress Developer with extensive enterprise-level experience, specifically utilizing the WordPress VIP platform. This role is crucial for delivering secure, highly performant, and scalable websites designed for high-traffic content and marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress themes and plugins.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance while working strictly within the WordPress VIP platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and DevOps teams on website and Content Management System (CMS) requirements.
- Implement advanced publishing workflows, multilingual support features, and custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Optimize websites for SEO, accessibility standards, and mobile responsiveness.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and adhere to VIP's stringent development standards.
- Manage large-scale content migrations and complex integrations with external platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics systems).
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- At least 1–2 years of experience specifically with WordPress VIP or comparable enterprise-grade WordPress environments.
- Expertise in core web technologies: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including React), HTML5, and CSS3.
