Responsibilities
- Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and system changes.
- Conduct hands-on investigation and confirmation of test scenarios.
- Develop scripted Python tests for integration test scenarios.
- Identify and prioritize deficiencies in existing integration test scripts, then implement planned improvements.
- Maintain the integration test environment and associated test artifacts.
- Enhance the existing integration framework to support improved automation and reporting capabilities.
- Develop scripting tools to effectively run test cases for Restful APIs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
- Proficiency in full-cycle testing, from designing manual and automation tests to developing scripts and execution.
- Strong experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Scripting ability using Java, Python, Bash, or PHP.
- Experience testing backend services, including APIs, Databases, and distributed services (non-monolithic architectures).
- Enjoys identifying and solving complex problems, understanding both the 'what' and the 'why' behind issues.
