  • Foster cross-team collaboration and actively remove obstacles hindering delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams (preferably 3–4), including line-management of Technical Leads.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field (other degrees considered).
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in software development, with at least 3 years leading teams.
  • Strong technical leadership experience in SaaS or Cloud-based platforms, ideally involving real-time, data-driven applications.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Strong grasp of architecture and demonstrated ability to lead architectural decision-making processes.
  • Solid understanding and track record of implementing engineering best practices: CI/CD, code reviews, test automation, observability, and security.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow technical leaders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration, preferably within GCP or AWS environments.
  • Experience decomposing monolithic applications into finer-grained services.
  • Note: Coding is not expected in this role, but experience with primary languages (PHP and Javascript/Typescript) is beneficial.
