Engineering Manager Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow a remote engineering team through hands-on technical leadership, coaching, and continuous feedback. This role requires deep technical involvement combined with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a remote engineering team, providing hands-on technical leadership and coaching.
  • Stay close to the codebase by reviewing pull requests, designing solutions, and implementing critical pieces of code when necessary.
  • Drive architectural decisions and technical direction across both backend and frontend systems.
  • Act as a multiplier for the team, unblocking complex technical problems and raising the overall engineering bar.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes to effectively balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  • Work closely with Product teams to define priorities, scope initiatives, and deliver meaningful product impact.
  • Ensure clear and structured communication across engineering, product, and operations teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Help build a culture of transparency, ownership, and trust, avoiding micromanagement while maintaining strong technical standards.
