Project Overview
Specialized service for the administration, evolution, and technical support of the Moodle e-Learning Platform to strengthen the training of professionals in the tourism sector. This role focuses on key areas such as innovation, quality, accessibility, governance, and sustainability, aiming to increase the reach, quality, and effectiveness of the training catalog.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Moodle configuration and administration: managing courses, categories, users, groups, enrollments, roles, permissions, activity/course completion, and grades.
- Management, loading, updating, validation, and quality control of digital content, including SCORM 1.2/2004 packages, H5P resources, multimedia resources, and course structures.
- Installation, evaluation, configuration, updating, and maintenance of Moodle plugins, ensuring compatibility with the platform and service needs.
- Technical support and incident resolution related to access, performance, activities, SCORM/H5P content, compatibility, and user experience.
- Integration of Moodle with external systems, including SSO, connection with SICTED or other SEGITTUR systems, user import/export, and process automation.
- Development and customization in Moodle using PHP, Moodle APIs, blocks, local plugins, web services, and specific functionalities.
- Design, implementation, and evolution of pages, front pages, campus subhomes, themes, blocks, and layout elements of the Moodle environment.
- Exploitation of native Moodle data, generation of tracking reports, basic usage analytics, student monitoring, tracking, and grades.
- Technical support to instructional design teams, training managers, content authors, and areas involved in the management of training programs.
- Technical supervision, review of deliverables, task prioritization, and assurance of good development and maintenance practices on Moodle.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- University degree, Engineering, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Education, Digital Communication or related disciplines.
Experience
- 4 years of experience in projects related to digital training technology platforms, LMS, and e-Learning environments.
- Minimum required: 4 years
- Experience in administration, operation, or support of Moodle platforms.
- Minimum required: 3 years
- Experience in advanced Moodle administration: users, roles, permissions, themes, enrollments, completion, tracking, and grades.
- Minimum required: 2 years
- Experience in publishing and maintaining SCORM content.
- Minimum required: 2 years
- Experience in Moodle development and customization (PHP, Moodle APIs, blocks, local plugins, web services, custom functionalities, etc.).
- Minimum required: 2 years
- Experience in integrating Moodle with external systems, SSO, user import/export, and process automation.
- Minimum required: 2 years
- Experience in database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
- Minimum required: 2 years
Desirable Qualifications
Education
- Official Moodle Administrator certification or equivalent.
- Official Moodle Educator certification or equivalent.
- Master's/Postgraduate degree in e-Learning, Educational Technology, or digital training platforms.
- Microsoft Azure certification related to platform administration, data integration, or data analytics applicable to the service.
Experience
- Advanced Moodle administration: users, roles, permissions, themes, enrollments, completion, tracking, and grades.

- Publishing and maintaining SCORM content.
