Inatel is actively seeking a DevOps Specialist to join the ICC SOFT team.
Responsibilities and Attributions
- Perform system updates (deployment) using project-specific technology.
- Develop highly complex scripts for project deployment automation and other necessary automation tasks.
- Monitor systems and applications using defined technology, analyze complex data, and perform intricate tool configurations.
- Define architecture through documentation and technology.
- Utilize cloud computing platforms to provision basic cloud resources and services, both manually and automatically.
- Develop medium-complexity web tools for internal project use.
- Document processes and technical solutions according to project requirements.
- Analyze and resolve critical software and infrastructure incidents.
- Automate the Build process.
- Analyze and isolate defects in the solution's testing process, identify root causes, and propose solutions to meet software quality standards.
- Create complementary documentation as needed.
- Apply new software development procedures, describing methods and operationalization in a standardized sequence, adhering to the quality assurance system for continuous improvement.
- Act as a knowledge multiplier, providing technical support to the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Complete higher education, preferably in Computing, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes, microservices, and service mesh.
- Proficiency in:
- Deployment tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Travis CI, Salt.
- Cloud computing platforms: AWS, Openstack, Google Cloud.
- Scripting: Shell Script, Python, PHP.
- Cloud automation: Terraform, Cloud Formation.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Programming languages for test automation: Selenium, Javascript, Phantom JS, Casper JS.
- Version control tools: GIT, Gerrit.
- Programming Logic.
- Knowledge in:
- Monitoring tools: Grafana, Graphite, ELK.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Linux environment management.
- Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra (SQL/NoSQL, query, table/schema/script creation).
- System development methods: Scrum.
- Control tools: Jira.
- Understanding of Security and Vulnerability concepts: SQL injection, cross-site scripting, CSRF, SSL.
- Advanced/fluent English for daily conversation with international teams.
Additional Information
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Workplace: This position operates under a "Home Office" teleworking regime.
