Deubert IT-Solutions is an owner-managed IT company near Bonn. Since 2008, we have been operating and developing highly available platforms for customers in various industries. In recent years, our focus has strongly shifted towards cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and automation. Today, we build and operate modern platforms based on Linux, containers, and open-source technologies – remotely, pragmatically, and with a high degree of personal responsibility. We are a small, well-coordinated team with a lot of creative freedom and are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer with a passion for modern infrastructure to strengthen our team.
Your Tasks
- Operate and further develop container-based platforms with Kubernetes
- Work on automation, GitOps, and platform engineering topics
- Plan, build, and operate customer environments from scratch
- Manage Linux-based systems and ensure stable, secure platforms
- Further develop monitoring, logging, and observability stacks
- Actively contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategies
- Support migrations towards container and cloud-native environments
- Help continuously improve and standardize our platform
Depending on your background, you can also contribute to special topics, e.g.:
- Classic hosting stacks (e.g., LAMP/PHP)
- Network and firewall topics (pfSense / OPNsense)
- Configuration management (e.g., Puppet)

What you should bring
- Very good Linux knowledge (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana or similar)
- Good German language skills (daily work) and English for tech context
Nice-to-have (not a must)
- Experience with GitOps, Platform Engineering or multi-cluster environments
- Experience with Puppet or similar tools
- PHP/LAMP experience
- Network know-how (pfSense, OPNsense, Routing, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (Proxmox, KVM)
- Experience in Managed Hosting / MSP environment
