Responsibilities
- Analyze diverse data sources and plan processes for cleansing, unification, and preparation for a single relational database;
- Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable data pipelines;
- Develop, optimize, and maintain databases and data warehouses;
- Implement ETL/ELT processes for integrating multiple sources;
- Ensure data quality, security, and integrity throughout the entire lifecycle;
- Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose continuous improvements;
- Collaborate effectively with software engineering, data science, and business teams;
- Stay updated on best practices, tools, and trends in data engineering.
Requirements and Qualifications
Requirements
- Solid experience in Data Engineering, with a history of managing data pipelines;
- Proficiency in PHP and Python;
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar);
- Experience with Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or equivalents);
- Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Data Factory, etc.);
- Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and query optimization;
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, or similar);
- Understanding of data security and governance, including LGPD/GDPR;
- Analytical profile, focused on scalability, performance, and problem-solving.
